Hello! I am Kie Veas, an illustrator and designer based in Los Angeles. I grew up in Japan in a very small town surrounded by farms, wildflowers, and animals. I like walking in nature and finding little happy moments in daily life that inspire me to create stories and images. Also, stories from the Bible are a big influence in my art.

​I love to tell stories with my art and share my imagination through children’s illustration. I hope my work will make a positive impact in the lives of little ones’ as well as all the people who grew up with the heart of a child!

​I often use gouache, color pencils, charcoal pencils, ink, and digital tools to create images. I love to use textures in my work to add a little personal touch.
